The Turkish Gulet
The clear blue waters of the sunny Mediterranean are beckoning you to a dream
holiday in a Turkish yacht or "gulet" (pronounced "goo-let"). Turkish gulets
were originally built for use by fisherman and sponge divers. Today they are
luxuriously designed especially for chartered holidays. Their large, uncluttered
decks are ideal for sunbathing and dining. These gracious and elegant motor
sailors, built of wood in traditional style, range from 18 to 30 meters in
length and can accommodate 8 to 20 persons in spacious a Twin-berthed or
Double-berthed cabins. Quarters for the crew are completely separate with
private facilities.
Weddings, honeymoons, birthdays, anniversaries - even family reunions, gulets
are an ideal venue for truly extraordinary celebrations. And if your group is
larger, travel in tandem.

Life On Board
Chartered Sailing is about good food, and friendly company surrounded by
nature in a serene atmosphere. One day you may decide to read a book while
sipping a drink and sunning on deck. A more active day might include hiking in
the woods or swimming and snorkeling amid schools of fish and ancient underwater
ruins. While docked you may wish to spend the morning touring a nearby ancient
city or have a special evening in town.
Cuisine on board a gulet is tasty and imaginative. A skilled chef, whose
versatility ranges from haute cuisine to regional specialities, guarantees
satisfaction for even the most discriminating palate. And a well-trained crew
creates the perfect dining ambience serving chilled wine with experience and
charm.
